Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and perform PMs on hydraulic and pneumatic production equipment (motors, conveyors, presses, etc.).
• Main duties include performing PMs on mechanical equipment.
• Work with mechanical and chain-driven machines.
• Lubricate machines and perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Spend 25% of the time performing basic maintenance on machines.
• Spend 75% of the time operating the rectifying machine.
Work Environment
• Large tile manufacturer with 140 people on-site.
• Dusty environment (due to tile dust), but fairly clean.
• Some areas involve working in high areas on tall equipment, including scaffolding.
• Can be very hot in the summer around kilns and ovens.
• Steel toes required, but shorts and cut-off t-shirts are allowed.
• This position covers the glaze and body prep/raw materials line.
