Modeling and Simulation Engineer

Description

Leidos is hiring a Modeling and Simulation Engineer with eligibility for a TS/SCI clearance to support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.

Our M&S Engineer will leverage their experience to develop simulations to support intelligence analysis modeling and simulation (M&S) Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) objectives.The engineer will work to design, develop, test, and document simulations related to PNT.

All work is in Dayton, OH.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop PNT simulations incorporating GNSS models.

Incorporate new algorithms into the simulation as required.

Analyze simulation results to determine effectiveness in meeting objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors in EE, AE, CS or related field and 4 years of experience in M&S in a related field or a Masters degree with 2 years of experience in M&S in a related field.

Active DoD Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for a TS/SCI.

3 yrs C experience.

2 yrs Python experience.

Strong analytical and communication skills and ability to work individually and with teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Active TS/SCI security clearance.

MATLAB/Simulink Experience.

Experience with / understanding of GNSS receiver algorithms.

Controlled Reception Pattern Antenna (CRPA) experience or knowledge.

Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), VHSIC Hardware Description Language (VHDL), and Verilog experience.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $81,250.00 – $146,875.00
