Digital Marketing & Programs Manager Location: Fort Wayne, IN (Onsite) Level: Salaried

Travel: 20% (markets, member visits, vendor visits, field staff meetings)

About the Role:

The Digital Marketing & Programs Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing campaigns that enhance online presence, provide compelling programs, and engage with target audiences all in alignment with our corporate marketing strategy. This position is responsible for developing strategies that drive engagement, increasing brand awareness, and boosting omnichannel sales. The Digital Marketing & Programs Manager will manage the overall omnichannel marketing strategy and execution of plans for new and existing products.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute member digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and display advertising to help members drive sales.

Spearhead a new and innovative digital marketing roadmap for Do it Best to include loyalty and member marketing software.

Develop, oversee and execute a member digital marketing strategy across all digital channels including web, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.

Partner with Ecommerce to monitor, track, and report on feedback and online reviews.

Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness.

Coordinate with Ecommerce and Communications teams to ensure consistency in brand voice and aesthetic.

Liaise with Merchandising and Sales departments to stay updated on new products, strategies, and features, contributing to and following the corporate marketing strategy.

Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends, attending relevant conferences and trade shows.

Develop, implement and manage marketing programs designed to ensure our retail customers/members maintain their competitiveness in their respective markets.

Collaborate with cross functional leadership and teams to ensure coordination and alignment with the overall marketing strategy and program training and awareness.

Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).

Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.

Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing.

Work with other customer facing managers to provide members with analysis of their customer shopping data and turn it into actionable tactics to drive sales by increasing customer recency, frequency, and monetary spend.

Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.

Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.

Analysis and understanding of the competition, both from a ‘who’s winning in the space’ perspective to robust analysis of Do it Best’s top omnichannel competitors.

Stay current and engaged in driving results with currently running programs while constantly evaluating new program opportunities and partnerships that will drive brand awareness, provide additional customer journey metrics, and increase conversion and customer retention.

Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.

Focus on enhancing the consumer loyalty program to extract meaningful data and insights.

Monitor and manage department revenue and expense budgets and forecasts.

Partner with the learning and development teams to provide training and materials for members and employees.

Manage relevant vendor relationships with responsibility for program contracts and billing.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.

3 years of proven working experience in digital marketing.

5 years of leadership experience required. 10 a plus!

Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns.

Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)

Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy, and best practices.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, programs and initiatives to achieve goals.

Demonstrated track record of program management and development.

Knowledge of traditional and emerging marketing strategies, practices, methodologies, and technologies.

Agency experience is a plus.

Skills and Abilities:

The ideal candidate has experience with performance media strategies, creative executions, web and social content creation, website maintenance, and optimizing PPC digital marketing campaigns.

This person should also possess strong analytical skills, a customer-focused mindset, SEO expertise, and confidence in using new and emerging social, digital, and marketing platforms.

Goal-oriented and performance tracking is a must.

Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking with the ability to communicate a clear strategic vision of where the organization is going in the omnichannel landscape.

Ability to translate market needs into actionable insights and influence go-to-market strategies.

Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.

Excellent communication and project management skills.

Ability to work independently and balance multiple projects and tasks.
