Job Title: Controls Engineer

Job Description

The Controls Engineer will identify customer needs and will design and implement PLC code into customer equipment. This position requires extensive customer interaction and will require someone who enjoys being in a customer-facing role . You will support existing installations with PLC Logic updates and new features. You will support control development as needed with end-user testing of new versions.

Duties may include developing, designing, testing, and troubleshooting PLC and computer-based industrial controls systems.

Must Have Skills

PLC Programming (Allen-Bradley)

Understanding of electrical circuitry

Soft Skills

Customer service experience

Extensive communication skills

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Grand Ledge, Michigan and some days remote.

Work Environment

The position will require 3 days on-site and 2 days of remote work.
