Job Title: HVAC Maintenance Technician

Job Description

This candidate will be diagnosing walk-in/reach-in coolers and freezers and performing maintenance on refrigeration equipment. Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems, as well as cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems. The role also involves installing and testing new equipment and completing paperwork in a timely manner for repairs.

Hard Skills

EPA Universal (Type 1-3) – Can purchase gas

Experience with Freon or Ammonia systems (Split systems, central systems, or rack systems)

Experience with industrial or commercial refrigeration technician work

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Benton Harbor, Michigan.

Work Environment

The entire facility is a freezer – Cold Environment. Required to stand, sit, and walk for periods of time with occasional bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing. Situations of lifting 5lbs – 50lbs. Using cutting utensils and power tools.
