Description:

We are looking for an electrical technician who will be responsible for wiring the new truck chassis, as well as troubleshooting and testing it before release. This would require a good understanding of electrical schematics/blueprints, reading electrical symbols, point-to-point wiring, and understanding of electrical flow. The chassis this person will be responsible for could be either new or used and will be a part of the manufacturing process in the shop and come after the mechanical assembly process.

An Electrical Technician is responsible for completing the following duties:

• Perform all necessary routines about electronic components

• All equipment meets all quality standards for electrical assembly

• Completed equipment functions properly

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and all related paperwork

• Install and terminate all electrical components and connections

• Fabricate and install conduit lines

• Update paperwork to reflect any changes

• Operate equipment safely – Ironworker, Band Saw, Drill Presses, Jancey drills, overhead cranes, and other equipment as required

• Operate forklift according to safe operating procedures, including acquisition and maintenance of training certificate

• Test-run completed equipment before shipment

• Other duties as assigned

Worksite Location:

• Hugo MN

Schedule:

• 5:30 am – 4 pm Monday-Thursday

Work Environment:

• Working inside and outside of the shop, mostly inside. Not climate-controlled.
