We are seeking a Chemist for a growing chemical manufacturing company located in Pleasant Prairie, WI! The Chemist is responsible for performing routine jobs associated with the testing and approving of chemical and blends.

Shift : Mon-Thurs 5:30pm-1:30am

Base Pay Range: $21.75

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct inspections and testing on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.

Inspect USP containers and tankers, as needed.

Perform gauging, sampling, and documentation for incoming ethanol shipments.

Maintain accurate records of test results, chemical status, and nonconformance reports.

Ensure proper documentation and upkeep of quality records.

Verify raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products meet established specifications.

Generate certificates of analysis.

Perform USP and routine monograph testing, as applicable.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Chemistry or a related science field (with lab experience).

Familiarity with modern quality principles and industrial practices is preferred.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in typing, filing, and basic PC skills; experience with Windows and Microsoft Office is a plus.
