Packaging Associate

Location: Frankfort, IL

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:

3pm-11:30pm 19.00

11pm-7:30am 19.50

Job Description: As a Packaging Associate, you will be responsible for:

Packing quality finished goods for shipment safely and efficiently

Ensuring correct assembly and packaging of finished goods

Reporting any quality, health, safety, and efficiency issues to your supervisor promptly

Performing quality checks and ensuring correct counts on various product sizes

Stacking finished products in the correct configuration for transportation

Checking and replenishing necessary supplies at workstations

Maintaining a clean and safe work area

Completing paperwork accurately and in a timely manner

Following all company rules, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures

Contributing to the team effort by accomplishing assigned tasks and duties

Requirements:

Must have at least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing setting

Ability to work a 12-hour swing shift (7 PM – 7 AM or 7 AM – 7 PM)

Must be able to wear steel-toed shoes and required PPE

Ability to stand for the entire shift and remain active throughout the day

Must be reliable and present on scheduled days

Must be available to work weekends

Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks

Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety policies

Must maintain a clean and organized work area
