As the Privileged Access Management (PAM) Engineer Lead, your main responsibility is to oversee the organization’s privileged access management system. This involves executing IAM strategies and policies, user authentication and authorization, and access control, as well as ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements. Our identity management services cover a wide range of identity profiles including employees, contractors, suppliers, customers, and joint ventures; with each having unique identity challenges and needs. Additionally, our privileged management services offer its own unique challenges to ensure our systems are secured and protected.
Responsibilities
Build, deliver, maintain, and update technology, platform, and system solutions in International’s Identity and Access Management space that addresses business and technical requirements, leveraging standard policies and standards.
Focused on delivering, maintaining, and updating Privileged Access Management systems with a targeted focus on the CyberArk (PAM) platform.
Provides subject matter expertise to and leads platform and system design, development, and implementation.
Develop and enforce policies and procedures for privileged access management.
Helps define tuning and configuration parameters/settings for technologies, platforms, and systems to meet customer and operational requirements.
Supports the lifecycle management activities for technology, platform, systems, and related documentation to ensure operational health and security.
Monitors technology, platform, and systems to ensure required performance, availability, and capacity. Identifies and eliminates gaps in monitoring and potential impact on service delivery.
Conduct regular audits and assessments of privileged accounts and access controls.
Monitor and respond to security incidents related to privileged access.
Collaborate with IT and security teams to integrate PAM solutions with existing systems.
Provide training and support to users on PAM policies and procedures.
Stay updated on the latest PAM technologies and best practices.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
At least 5 years of Information Security experience
OR
Master’s degree
At least 3 years of Information Security experience
OR
At least 7 years of Information Security experience
Additional Requirements
Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience in identity management capabilities.
Strong understanding of PAM solutions and tools (e.g., CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Thycotic).
Must be able to demonstrate a firm understanding of the concepts of password vaulting, privileged session management, secrets management, and DevSecOps.
Experience with creating credential vaults, defining access control policies/platforms, user provisioning and entitlements, managing applications credentials, key management, and user access policy management.
Experience in setting up segmented privileged access management environments for specific use cases.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging environment.
Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
