Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an office receptionist to join our workers compensation insurance client who specializes in construction and manufacturing industries. The receptionist is the first point of contact for all callers. They are expected to direct each callers unique needs to the correct department. While working alongside the rest of the administrative department, the receptionist plays a critical role in meeting the needs and supporting the entire company. This role reports directly to the operations manager, who works closely with these roles whilst coaching them. These roles also work alongside the administrative assistants, who are their teammates.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Open and close the front of the office daily, including locking and unlocking the front door, turning on and off the company welcome slideshow, and refilling the candy and mint dishes.
As needed, complete first report of injury and create the claim in Breeze.
Primary phone answering and directing of calls.
Alphabetize Explanation of Benefits for any checks and pass off to administrative assistant
Coordination of shred bins and presorted mail as needed
Track Christmas gifts that are received in office from third parties and mail off thank you cards after received.
Stuff claims checks or any outgoing AP/AR checks as needed
Assign messages to adjusters that are uncategorized in Breeze.
Add new claims to Worldox
Email claim confirmations to agents
Scan completed audit packets and attach them to policyholder account located in Breeze.
Email monthly and quarterly reports that are internal and external.
Print envelopes for settlement checks that are received and send out to claimants
Scan bills and medical records that adjusters receive and send them to Comptech
Confirm cash check dates for providers and send copies to provider
Greet all office visitors and validate their parking tickets.
Order catered lunches for the company and individual departments as needed
