Job Description

Drive several customer experience improvement programs by continuously improving the test strategy & related processes for the Oracle Health Millennium product suite and establish highest standards of performance, reliability and stability. Align different organisations on test strategy improvisations by closely working with the org leaders and stakeholders. Own all testing tools and processes in OHAI, ensure high availability of tools & environments to the product teams and enable test teams to achieve zero escape ratio. Develop robust automation test suites for maximum test coverage of the products with minimal time & manual efforts and minimise the release lead times. Minimise defects in client production after roll outs and reduce associated costs. Use scientific methodologies like advanced statistical approaches and latest technologies like AI/ML to identify critical pain points of customers with associated causes, product areas, workflows and formulate programs to address their concerns. Define meaningful metrics to measure customer experience and product performance, implement the pipeline to gather the metrics and formulate programs to track & monitor the metrics.

Minimum 10 years of software product development experience with expertise in full stack development/coding, automated integration test development (backend and UI based). Strong expertise and practical experience in building highly scalable, secure and extensible systems is a must have. Experience with UI testing tools like EggPlant, Selenium would be a great fit. People management experience for 2 years or more with a team size of 10 would be an added advantage. Exposure to OCI/AWS/Azure or any equivalent public cloud technologies with Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience. Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline, Jenkins, GitLab CI and Test Data Management techniques would be great value add. Should possess strong collaborative skills to technically lead & align teams across different organisations. Highly agile to adapt with changing client needs and mitigate unanticipated challenges.

Responsibilities

Fully accountable for the Oracle Health Millennium product quality and strategy to provide the best customer experience.

Own and minimise the cost associated with escape defects by implementing strong testing gates, test optimizations and engineering excellence.

Ensure implementation of defined test standards across all Oracle Health Millennium product teams by aligning the orgs and leaders/stakeholders.

Lead and direct test strategy discussions, alignment sessions, technical deep dives and investigations on broader issues that impact performance, stability and scalability of the product suite.

Develop & own long-term technical roadmap for test tools.

Reinforce and promote engineering culture and values across the organization and Oracle Cerner.

Lead by example and share knowledge and experiences with teams across organisations in OHAI.

Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
