Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee and administer various training programs including recurrent and new store training
Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance Maverik’s learning toolbox by contributing to design and development of new training programs, materials and processes
Deliver and oversee employee instruction including, enrollment, scheduling and preparation of instructional material aids and manuals, and facilitate instructor-led and web-based training
Proactively anticipate and mitigate challenges within company training programs before they arise
Support internal communications to share progress on the learning and development initiatives, creating strategies to drive their use
Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback, recommending content edits to ensure delivery of learning objectives
Maintain knowledge of the latest trends in learning and development, sharing ideas to increase learner engagement and effectively deliver key learning objectives
Occasional weekend /evening work required
Up to 50% travel required as needed

Qualifications: Education
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience preferred.
Qualifications: Experience
5 years of demonstrated training success required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including strong listening skills
Practice operating independently without the need for continuous oversight or direction
Proven ability to effectively prioritize and balance compelling needs
A history of taking the initiative to identify and solve work-related problems
Experience in exercising initiative and sound judgment in decision-making
