We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Green in Heber Springs, AR, for a Dental Laboratory Technician.

The regular hours for this position are from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.

Check set-ups for correct alignment and function before beginning waxing.

Wax in anatomical features to achieve proper function and aesthetic appearance.

Carefully clean on and around teeth to remove excess wax to prevent excess acrylic on surfaces at packing.

If the case is ready for finish, seal the wax-up to the model to prevent poor fit/appearance when acrylic stage is completed.

Clean wax from models, articulators, and implant bars before shipping to make the most attractive case presentation possible for the doctor and patient.

Rewax resets if adjustments are needed after try-in.

Manage daily job task assignments to keep production running at high levels of efficiency.

Review final work to confirm that quality standards have been met.

Clean work area daily.

All other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities Required:

Excellent hand-eye coordination.

Strong ability to read, listen, comprehend, retain, and execute on written and verbal instructions.

High level of organizational skill with the ability to prioritize work.

Able to perform certain lab tasks as demonstrated during hands-on session.

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Must be able to sustain production

Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:

Hand piece/small machinery

Additional related materials or equipment, as required.

Personal protective equipment, as required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel and/or reach.

Fine motor skills and ability to perform repetitive motions.

Vision capabilities, including depth perception, attention to detail, and color.
