Exclusive, 100% remote, contract to permanent (hire) Sr. Big Data Engineer role with top ecommerce company looking to hire ASAP. Role will require heavy coding and there are 3 openings currently. work hours: 8am to 4pm

education: Masters

responsibilities:

strong in real time & batch pipelines in big data technologies

(i.e. Spark/Kafka/Cassandra/Hadoop/Hive/Elasticsearch)

Proficient in RESTful Services, Java, Scala, Spring Boot/Play Framework, RDBMS, NoSql, Python

Proficient in development of scalable cloud native microservices

Proficient with Designing and building APIs

Azure and or GCP exposure and experience

qualifications:

Experience level: Experienced

Minimum 7 years of experience

Education: Masters (required)

skills:

Java (7 years of experience is required)

Hive (5 years of experience is required)
