Job Details:

Schedule – Monday – Friday and every other weekend

Hours – 4:00am – 4:00pm

Starting pay – determined by skill level.

Job Description:

– Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and
company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and
adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
– Provide troubleshooting and repair of any mechanical malfunction.
– Prepare written documentation of actions taken to correct equipment
problems.
– Responds to mechanical or electrical breakdowns and handle emergency
situations.
– Perform preventive maintenance according to schedule.
– Complete appropriate paperwork and reports
– Must comply with lockout/ tagout, confined space, and all other
safety programs.
– Must be able to perform mechanical and basic electrical trouble
shooting and repairs.
– Able to perform diagnosis and repairs without supervision.
– Capable of starting all equipment before production startup and
shutdown without supervision
– Ability to assist with other mechanics as needed.
– Perform other duties as assigned.
– Work in temperature that will vary with outside ambient temperatures
and humidity. It can be dusty, warm, cold and/or humid.
– The positions physical requirements will include standing, walking,
bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, stooping and the
ability to climb ladders, lifts, and scaffolds.
– Lifting will also be required and depending on department could be
up to 70lbs.

Requirements:

– Maintenance experience of 6 months or currently enrolled at an
industrial maintenance program, or one year of classroom training
from a technical college. (food industry preferred) Maintenance will
be considered work in mechanic, fabricator, electrician, or plant
maintenance.
– Applicants from the following counties in Arkansas will be
considered – Benton, Washington, and Madison.
