Position Description

-We have an opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Oklahoma City, OK

$1500 per week or more – And it gets better

Driver Positions Pay Weekly

Paid Stops and Miles

Solo Miles Pay: $ 0.628 per Mile with 2000 – 2500 Miles per Week

Solo Stops Pay: $ 20.60 per Stop with 15 Stops per Week

Per Diem Pay: $ 26.52 per night with 2 – 4 nights per Week

Nights out are booked in Ryder Hotel

Up to $2200 in Bonuses during 1st year and more at your 2nd

Schedule: Monday – Friday Occasional Saturdays

Ryder Drivers Service the Route, not the Truck. All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800 Maintenance Facilities.

Deliver SOLO To: OK, TX, KS, AR and MO

Route: Regional

Tractor Type: Day Cab

Must be able to operate both Manual and Automatic Transmissions

Trailer Type: Flatbed

6 months of Flatbed experience REQUIRED

No Tarping!

Equipment: Moffet

Freight: Touch – Brick and Building Supplies

Requirements

Minimum 21 years of age

Pass a Ryder Drug Test

Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

Pass a DOT physical

Pass a Ryder road test

Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position

Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:

9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR

2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR

5 years’ experience within the last 10 years

Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions

Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Important Note: Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.

Responsibilities

Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines

Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs

Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer

Performs other duties as assigned
