Electrical Designer
System One
Job Summary:
The role involves designing and engineering various Low Voltage Systems such as Fire Alarm, Telecommunications, Audio/Video, Intercom, Clocks, Paging, Video Surveillance, Intrusion Detection, Access Control, Nurse Call, and more. The candidate will create detailed design documents, perform load calculations, and maintain design tools and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
System Design & Engineering:
Design and develop Low Voltage Systems.
Produce detailed design drawings and perform load calculations.
Collaborate with project teams to integrate systems into overall designs.
Documentation & Standards Management:
Maintain and improve design-related documents and standards.
Ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
Update documents to reflect changes in project requirements or best practices.
Design Workload Management:
Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Communicate with project teams to ensure design requirements are met.
Provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases.
Software Utilization:
Use software tools like Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Revit for design documentation.
Stay updated with industry software to enhance design efficiency.
Communication & Collaboration:
Demonstrate strong communication skills in a team environment.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to achieve project goals.
Handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience in Low Voltage Systems design and engineering (preferred).
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; Revit experience is a plus.
Understanding of industry standards and regulations.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work both independently and in a team.
Certification in low voltage systems design or engineering is a plus.
