Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department – PRN, Days – Free-standing Facility, TH Willow Park
Work location: Texas Health Willow Park, 101 Crown Point Blvd, Willow Park, TX 76087
Work hours: PRN II/per diem, Day shift, 3 shifts per 6-week schedule, 1 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule, 1 major and 1 minor holidays required
Department Highlights:
10-bed emergency department
Located about 20 miles west of downtown Ft. Worth
Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week
Full-service ED with highly qualified nursing staff
Providing care for a wide variety of patients from neonate, pediatric and seniors covering an array of illnesses and injuries

Here’s what you need
Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire
CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency
BCLS – prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
ACLS – within 90 days of hire required
PALS – within 90 days of hire required
NIHSS – within 90 days of hire required
TNCC or ATCN – within 12 months of hire required
ENPC – within 12 months of hire required
CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training – within 60 days of hire
1-year clinical nursing experience or completion of an RN residency program required
ED experience strongly preferred
In addition to the required qualifications, a successful RN will
demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude toward patients
possess a strong work ethic and always display a high level of professionalism
have basic computer skills using medical management application systems
What You Will Do
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
assesses the patient
plans the care of the patient
intervenes as appropriate
evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers
