Senior Accounting Assistant CBO

Texas Health Resources is looking for a top skilled Senior Accounting Assistant with Accounts with AR experience. Is that you?

Work location: Texas Health Resources, 612 East Lamar Blvd, Arlington, TX 76011

Work hours: Full-time, Day shift; 40 hours, Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm,

Here’s What You Need

Education

· H.S. Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

​​​​​​Experience

1 year General financial accounting, reconciliation, or reporting (Required) Or,

2 semesters of basic accounting classes can be substituted for experience (Required)

​​​​ Skills

– Basic skills of Excel and Word, excellent written and oral communication skills. Must demonstrate attention to detail in a complex fast-paced work enviroment and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously to achieve results.

What You Will Do

Reconciliation of Patient Accounts Receivable for multi facilities.

Reconcile and resolve any open bank transactions (deposits, return items, chargebacks, bank corrections) for final reconciliation for multiple bank accounts.

Prepare and upload Cash Receipt Correction Logs to be posted to patient AR and or General Ledger for bank discrepancies.

Review and match bank deposits to the respected remittance for patient posting

Daily and monthly reporting on revenue and unreconciled bank deposits.

Triage and process all incoming department mail. Route correspondence as needed. Deposit checks appropriately into multiple depository accounts.

Assists staff accountants with research items for reconciliations.

Fosters the development of teammates by sharing expertise and experiences through training or reviewing of workflow processes..
