job summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to join our team and ensure the quality of our processes and products. In this role, you will utilize various quality assurance tools, conduct audits, and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing techniques and a solid understanding of ISO 9001:2015 standards.

responsibilities:
Utilize quality assurance tools to test, track, analyze, and report on the quality of processes and products.
Collect data to support continuous process improvement and maintain relevant quality assurance documentation.
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, preventive actions, and corrective actions.
Generate reports on issues identified during quality assurance activities and provide recommendations for improvements.
Conduct internal ISO 9001 audits and supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Assist in managing Quality and Business Management Systems and contribute to quality planning functions.
Collaborate with purchasing to ensure regular reporting of supplier performance and timely implementation of corrective actions.
Manage key performance indicators such as Delivered Quality, PPM (Parts Per Million), and COQ (Cost of Quality).
Promote the use of preferred techniques for continuous improvement such as Lean, Poka-Yoke, and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA).
Collect data to drive continuous improvement and prevent reoccurrence of issues using 5Y analysis.
Requirements:
Associate or Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent technical school education.
Minimum of 5 years of industrial experience, with at least 2 years in quality management.
Familiarity with Quality Engineering Core tools and methodologies, including FMEA, SPC, PDCA, MSA, PPAP, and Control Plans.
Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing techniques and 5S is strongly desired.
Must have a basic understanding of the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
