Who we’re looking for

Toyota’s Denver Region is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated District Sales Manager.

The primary responsibility of this role is to serve as the primary point of contact for Toyota Dealers within assigned District on all Vehicle Sales related activities.

Reporting to the Vehicle Field Sales Manager, the person in this role will support Denver Regional Offices objective to leverage relationships with their assigned Toyota Dealers to influence their continued reinvestment into their people, their operations and the need to adapt to the changes in the Industry.

What you’ll be doing:

Wholesale new vehicles to assigned Dealers and sell PPO accessories.

Analyze and recommend improvements to dealership new vehicle inventory / use dealership revenue optimization tool to increase inventory efficiency and profitability.

Lead SmartPath activities with dealerships in district (develop, lead and manage SmartPath dealership awareness / communication / education / launch / sustainment).

Administration and monitoring of all Toyota sales and marketing policies and procedures to ensure dealers understanding.

Formation of professional and productive relationships with our Dealer Principals, Dealer Management and affiliates.

Development and execution of focused strategies aimed at both dealer and brand loyalty as well as market share growth.

Continuous review of dealership operational performance as well as consultative follow up to help drive improvement.

The continuous development and execution of an industry leading guest experiences at dealerships within the assigned district.

Assignment of dealer New Vehicle and Pre-Owned objectives.

Administration of dealership new vehicle allocations and accessory penetration.

Achieve district and dealer new vehicle and Certified sales objectives.

Achieve district and dealer training and certification goals.

Timely and professional submission of all requested reports, including Contact Reports, estimates and net profit reports.

Coordinate and develop balanced operations by coordinating closely with the District Service & Parts Manager and eCommerce Field Specialist.

Stay within travel policy guidelines for flights, hotel, and meals in support of total Sales Department Budget.

The continuous development and execution of an industry leading guest experiences at dealerships within the assigned district and sharing those best practices Region wide when/where possible (eg. Dealer Performance Groups, Peer Roundtables, etc.).

What you bring

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a business-related subject or equivalent professional work experience

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Extensive experience in automotive industry

Effective presentation skills

Ability to travel up to 60% or more

The annual base salary range for this position is $91,000.00 – $147,900.00This job posting is expected to be closed on : 10/12/2024
