Job Title: Survey Crew ChiefJob Description

Seeking a motivated Survey Crew Chief to lead our field survey team in Tempe, AZ. This role involves operating primarily in Maricopa County and Central Arizona, performing detailed field surveys including Topographic Surveys, Boundary Surveys, ALTAs, and construction staking. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of understanding and practice in surveying, adept at leading either a one-man or two-man crew, and will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of field work in alignment with project schedules and budgets.

Hard Skills

Experience with Trimble Hardware and Software (GPS/GNSS, TSC3, Total Stations, Access, TBC)

Ability to perform pre-field staking calculations and preparation of as-staked cutsheets

Ability to read construction plans, survey drawings, and plat maps

3-5 Years Experience in surveying

Work Environment

Full-time position based in a modern office in Tempe, AZ, with field work primarily conducted across Maricopa County and Central Arizona. Offers a competitive salary range of $28.00 – $38.00 per hour.
