Amazon is looking for a Program Manager (PM), Inbound Supply Chain, to improve inventory placement and inbound supply chain performance. The PM designs long-term strategies and capabilities to facilitate disruptive innovation, improve asset utilization, and drive portfolio of initiatives across multiple teams.

Supply Chain Innovation organizations core goal is centered on two key principles:

i) Innovation that positions the customer first.

ii) Solutions that spin the Amazon flywheel.

Our mission is to introduce simplicity, predictability, and economic efficiency to Amazon’s multifaceted supply chain than spans the globe. The Inbound Cross Dock (IXD) Team develops capabilities and business models that support Amazon’s needs for cost-effective, scalable e-commerce solutions including storage, distribution, and customer fulfillment.

Key job responsibilities

– Act as an evangelist for the adoption of new tools and processes for Inbound Supply Chain Regionalization Program.

– Influence beyond direct authority and network to drive consensus and decisions with senior Amazon leaders, technical prioritization of key initiatives, and promoting the program and operational excellence

– Be responsible for program expansion, financial reporting, new partnerships, technology enhancement, business Intelligence and new innovations

– Use analytical and statistical rigor to solve complex problems and drive business decisions and own programmatic execution on both detailed and strategic levels

– Manipulate/mine data from database tables (ex. Redshift, MySQL) using SQL.

Basic Qualifications

– 5 years of program or project management experience

– 5 years of supply chain experience

– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

– Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

– 2 years of driving process improvements experience

– Masters degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
