Operational Lead Analyst, Strategic Sourcing Analytics – Express Scripts – Hybrid

POSITION SUMMARY

The Operational Support Lead Analyst holds a critical role within the Strategic Sourcing Analytics team as it relates to the coordination and execution of Department of Defense contract daily Drug Purchasing reporting for key client contracts. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, collaboration within and across internal stakeholders and teams as well as external partners.

This position is in-office aligned and will require the flexibility to perform onsite at a designated Cigna office facility.

Primary Functions

Business process owner (BPO) for Continuous Monitoring Annual Rebaseline (CMAR)

Responsible for daily reporting on National Drug Code Changes (NDC) that involves gaining government approval and notification of approved changes to the National Prime Vendor.

Coordinates and directs work effort for ESI team members.

Communicates with external stakeholders and client for reporting and value opportunity approval on value opportunities that support cost avoidance.

Ensures timely delivery of daily Drug purchasing reporting

Collects/analyzes data from large sets of data for modeling, report optimization as a result of ad hoc customer needs.

Uses technical expertise to support internal customers in building/automating report processing

Gathers and interprets business requirements and monitor data trends to identify issues

Develops and maintains standard operating procedures for CMAR as well as various daily job aids for analyst tasks.

Key Qualifications

High school diploma or GED. Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Economics, Analytics, Finance, or related curriculum preferred

At least 3 years related data management/reporting experience

Proficient in SQL, Excel, Teradata, PowerPoint

Experience in Tableau and Alteryx preferred

Excellent communication (oral and written), presentation, and facilitation skills

Strong analytical and technical skills

Demonstrated organization and prioritization skills, ability to work under minimal supervision

Ability to multi task and meet competing deadlines
