Position: Account Manager & Sales Coordinator
As the Account Manager & Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for retaining business by acting as the direct point of contact for assigned customers. You will also manage customer pricing requests and review custom projects and opportunities. This role requires direct interaction with customers and internal coordination with Sales & Operations through various communication channels including phone, email, written correspondence, and in-person meetings.
Core Responsibilities & Duties:
Maintain and update customer files
Ensure customers complete necessary paperwork, including Credit Applications, rate tariffs, Terms & Conditions, and TSA Validation Forms and letters
Manage the Aging Summary to ensure all accounts are within terms
Establish tariffs and complete RFPs with the support and approval of the Director
Analyze individual P&L reports to assess account profitability and ensure tariffs or quotes capture the necessary revenue
Collaborate with the quote department to develop rates
Complete and update SOPs to ensure all customer operational needs are met and Operations clearly understands specific account service expectations
Assist with proactive communication regarding any service delays or other issues with PLC customers, ensuring Operations follows up appropriately
Follow up on assigned sales leads
Complete weekly sales summaries and document all customer interactions in the CRM system
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word and Outlook
5 years related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
