What will you be doing?

Operate forklift in a safe manner at all times, and hold a valid Forklift Operator’s certificate.

Operate a pick crane to unload and load containers.

Operate a terminal tractor (yard goat).

Move levers or controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, lift beams with swivel-hooks, hoists or elevating platform, to load, unload, transport, or stack material.

Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, lifting devices or other transport vehicles.

Perform routine maintenance on vehicles or auxiliary equipment, such as cleaning, lubricating, recharging batteries, fueling, or replacing liquefied-gas tank.

Dispatch of truck drivers (back-up), answers phones, filing, inspects order and delivery paperwork for accuracy, assist Logistics Manager with reporting and shipment planning schedule

What do you bring?

Must have a valid Class A driver license

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Minimum 2yrs operating power industrial equipment (e.g. forklift, cranes, etc)

Must be able to work overtime when required, including weekends and holidays

Must be bilingual English and Spanish

Computer literacy – Outlook, Word, Excel

Must be precise and pay attention to details Physical requirements: some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, twisting, bending and lifting. Ability to lift up to 75lbs
