Job Description
Among the Assembler’s responsibilities are reading drawing and electrical wiring diagrams, joining the components into a whole product using point-to-point wiring instructions, and assembling and/or soldering electrical components as per the drawings. Assembler II will possess higher skills than Assembler I and train Level I and II cable assemblers.
Hard Skills
Read and interpret shop drawings, job order travelers, and job order traveler pick lists
Build to assembly standards in terms of quantity and quality
Use hand tools
Repair and rework assemblies as required
Timely and accurately complete documentation and electronically record work in Floor Manager
Perform tasks while complying with company safety policies
Soft Skills
Follow written and oral instructions
Communicate with managers, peers, and subordinates on a routine basis
Use good judgment in performing tasks correctly the first time through
Provide input to help improve the performance of the department
Maintain a good attendance record to timely complete work assignments
Work overtime when needed

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Pacoima, California.
Work Environment
Work at different workstations as production needs require or shift from one station to another during the assembly process. Maintain a safe and clean work environment (may require sweeping, mopping, trash removal). Follow and adhere to all company and departmental procedures and policies. Promptly report to the supervisor all observations that are relevant to ensure a safe and efficient operation in the department. Perform other duties as required.
