Job Title: Payroll Specialist

Job Description

Process weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payroll for construction employees, including salaried and hourly workers.

Verify timesheets, attendance records, and other relevant documents for accuracy.

Calculate wages, overtime, deductions, and benefits.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.

Maintain and update employee payroll records in the payroll system.

Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management.

Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve any discrepancies.

Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.

Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and distribution.

Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations affecting the construction industry.
