Job Description Summary
Responsible for working with internal/external customers to scope projects, create work plans, track progress against work schedules, track budget progress and burn rates, keep plans up to date and publish results, create and present management reports on project outcome and status. Responsible for establishing project quality requirements and adhering to our established method of executing and tracking projects. Responsible for maintaining all active project plans in MS Project (or equivalent) and will be responsible for helping BD associates to learn and adopt these technologies.

What is expected of you for success in your role
Demonstrates applied knowledge of project management principles
Actively utilizes project management tools to independently manage small to large scope projects
Understanding of key quality systems: i.e. change management, design reviews, V&V, design controls, and APQP
Manages multiple projects concurrently
Independently manages scope, time and resources of small to large scope projects, within predefined constraints
Demonstrates strong leadership skills to successfully influence people and teams at all levels
Collaborates with others to build effective working relationships; negotiates to build broad-based support and/or persuades others to influence important outcomes
Experience in managing projects supporting quality improvement, cost reduction, and end-of-life initiatives
Manages core and extended teams assigned to project
Lead global and virtual teams
Facilitates team dialogue to identify project risks, develops mitigation strategies/plans and works to have strategies in place should they be needed
Negotiates conflict resolution when needed
Utilizes analytical, organizational, communication, presentation, and written skills to keep stakeholders informed
High level of energy, initiative, and results orientation
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related technical field
Minimum of 5 years of project management experience
Experience in design transfer and integration required
Applied experience with LEAN Six-Sigma methodologies
Proficient in Microsoft Project
Highly Desired Qualifications
Educational background in Engineering
Process knowledge of manufacturing
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Experience in an FDA regulated environment
Travel
Minimal, less than 10%

Salary Range Information
$99,000.00 – $163,300.00 USD Annual
