Description
The Seasonal Loss Prevention Senior Supervisor reports directly to the Public Safety Manager and will oversee the operations of the Loss Prevention Offices at Discovery Kingdom.
Position Specific Tasks:
Oversee Audits, Investigations and External Reports of seasonal teams at SFDK
Ensure the completion and delivery of all Team Member Attendance Disciplines for SFDK
Oversee Time, Compliance and Scheduling teams and assist with hiring and training of new team members
Respond to Management concerns regarding Internal, External and Fraud issues
Support Loss Prevention leadership to ensure maximum productivity and teamwork
Assist management in Department Calendar management
Holds weekly meetings with Team members to discuss any department issues or schedule requests
Ensure all standards are being met regarding timely attendance disciplines, weekly reporting, schedule & timecard management
Coach and Counsel the team as needed
Six Flags Expectations:
Lead the Team in delivering “World Class Guest Service” to team members and other interacting parties
Utilize various time, attendance and scheduling systems to ensure compliance with company policy as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations
Regularly check voicemail and email responding in a timely manner to all concerns
General office cleanliness including sweeping, mopping, and filing
Serves as a role model for guest service and teamwork
Other job duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
At least three years prior supervisory experience in working at Theme Park
Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel;
Must possess excellent organizational skills and be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Must be able to handle documents, issues, and conversations with extreme confidentiality
Must be able to use independent judgment and effectively prioritize
Must be able to positively and effectively communicate in English both in verbal and written format
Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the primary job duties
Must be able to live the Six Flags Mantra and adhere to all grooming standards
Must be able to use a multi line phone (placing someone on hold, transferring calls, and checking voicemail)
Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift, push, or pull 50lbs with or without assistance
Working knowledge of Human Resource policies and procedures to include minor labor laws and wage and hour compliance preferred
Ability to demonstrate effective written communication to include reports, tracking systems, file notes, e-mail correspondence, facsimile correspondence, and other required methods
Ability to maintain objectivity in times of pressure and take direction
Must be able to work weekends, evenings and holidays
