Job Description
Analyzes current documentation and data flows in departments and works with staff to redesign workflow as necessary; designs system to reflect appropriate workflow and scope of practice of users.
Develops system functionality and tools to meet organizational and department needs, in collaboration with end user departments.
Participates in Application Deployment Go Live support, which may include working evenings, nights and extended hours.
Manages project responsibilities and deliverables in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment across multiple teams and supporting multiple concurrent priorities.
Creates and maintains project documentations and related financials.
Manages deliverables by following applications development methodology and by providing support to the project team through direct assistance, application build, mentoring and direction.
Identifies gaps and process improvement opportunities to streamline operational workflows.
Collaborates with stakeholders and application team to identify business needs and determine the extent of required application changes.
Documentation of current and future state workflows, business requirements, issues log, and build specifications.
Performs needs assessment (identification of functional and system requirements) for complex workflows, customers, and/or areas.
Participate in operational, system and customer acceptance planning and testing, supporting full end-to-end deployment of clinical and front-end operations.

Skills and Requirements
Must hold current Epic certifications for Epic Ambulatory
Bachelors degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
Three years build experience in Epic Ambulatory
Three years experience working with clinical information systems or system implementation teams for complex projects and/or application development.
Experience gathering end user requirements and documenting workflows.
Experience creating and managing time schedules, tracking issues, managing multiple activities and priorities, and maintaining productivity.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in office automation software (word processing, spreadsheets, visual presentation such as MS Project, Visio, etc.)
Experience serving as a technical leader and information resource to clinical users and management, providing guidance and recommendations on optimal strategies and policies for quality, efficiency, and functionality improvement of clinical information systems.
Demonstrated advanced written and verbal communication skills including the ability to convey highly technical information to all levels of clinical users and staff Paying 60-80/hr null
