NASC Network Operations Control (NOC) is looking for a Senior Program Manager with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to build procedures to anticipate areas of risk, institute preventative measures and execute timely interventions to protect Operations from harm during large scale events (extreme weather or geological events).
This is an exciting space that lies within the heart of WW Operations during disruptive events. Leaders in this space will develop and drive centralized decision making leading up to uncontrollable weather events (i.e. winter storms, hurricanes, wildfire, etc). Candidates will also drive scalable, tech solutions streamlining end-to-end network flow strategies. As we strive for faster delivery to customers, a more efficient supply chain network and lower cost of operations, a successful candidate must be passionate about customer experience and take a data-backed approach to identifying and prioritizing the most impactful efforts. This role requires technical chops and Operations empathy to gain credibility across key stakeholders and operators at all varying levels to detect and deploy strategies to address root causes.
Key job responsibilities
• Manage and oversee various cross-functional programs, ensuring successful delivery.
• Develop and refine program strategies, effectively leading and motivating teams.
• Set clear objectives for programs, leveraging data analytics to drive improvements and achieve metrics.
• Navigate and resolve ambiguities in business scenarios, applying creative problem-solving skills.
• Foster collaboration with internal and external partners to optimize resource allocation and project success.
• Evaluate and prioritize projects in conjunction with customer needs and technical team inputs.
• Bridge gaps in team dynamics, processes, and systems, preventing common project pitfalls.
• Identify and mitigate risks, preventing them from escalating into major issues.
• Regularly communicate with senior managers, business leaders, and other stakeholders to support key business initiatives.
• Develop, implement, and oversee KPI reporting for a program portfolio, ensuring clear visibility of milestones and project performance.
• Manage and communicate project budgets effectively.
Basic Qualifications
– 5 years of program or project management experience
– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
– Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
– Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
– Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
– 5 years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
– Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Transportation Logistics, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
– 5 years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
– 5 years of driving process improvements experience
– Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
– Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
– Experience of Six Sigma/Lean analytical techniques

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
