Job Description
The Quality Control Technician ensures the overall quality and compliance of products or services within a company. Responsibilities include utilizing measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, or spectrometers, and visual inspection to ensure consistent quality of production. Technicians must be able to read blueprints and have experience in a relevant manufacturing field.
Hard Skills
Proficiency with computers
Microsoft Office and Excel programs
Statistical software packages
Ability to read blueprints
Experience in a relevant manufacturing field
Utilizing measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, or spectrometers
Soft Skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision yet knows when to ask for help
Excellent understanding of problem-solving techniques
Works well within a team environment
Works well independently
