We want you to join our team as a Teacher & Family Advocate by providing comprehensive early childhood education and family support services for children and families served by EOCF. This position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week, summers, winter and spring break off! Typical schedule is Mon-Fri, day time hours. No weekends. Fully qualified pay rate $22.93, Trainee pay rate $21.94
Training plan may be considered based on qualifications.
Bi-lingual highly desired.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education: Associates degree in Early Childhood Development, ECE or related field; or; in Human Development, Human Services, Sociology, Social Work, or related field. Education must include 30 quarter credits in ECE. Training plan may be considered based on qualifications.
Knowledge of:
Principles of child development and early childhood curriculum planning.
Current best practices in early childhood development and education; developmentally appropriate best practices in early childhood programs.
Available services and resources for children and families in the community.
Principles of case management, advocacy and family dynamics.
Principles of human development and family services.
Technologically proficient
Ability to:
Observe and assess children and set individualized goals.
Prepare the classroom environment to meet the educational needs of each child.
Track each childs progress and incorporate the information into the curriculum.
Establish helping relationships with families and family members from varying cultural, socio-economic and educational backgrounds.
Work cooperatively with staff members and clients from diverse cultural, socio-economic and educational backgrounds.
Maintain confidentiality of records and information.
