Hours: Full-time, 1.0 FTE, Variable Shift, 40 Hours Per Week

Under general supervision the Food and Nutrition Services Cook – Lead oversees daily production activities in the main kitchen. The Food and Nutrition cook – lead will verify food is correctly produced and presented for the patient Room Service program, cafeteria, catering and coffee courts at PAMC. The cook – lead will assist in providing supervision to create and maintain a positive working environment which promotes teamwork and customer/patient satisfaction.

Required qualifications:
Upon hire: National Food Handler Card – State County City Authority
Within 6 months (180 days) of hire National ServSafe Manager Certification – National Restaurant Association
2 years of progressively responsible Food and Nutrition Services experience, including at least one year in a team mentoring or lead role.
Preferred qualifications:
Coursework/Training and Two years college in Food and Nutrition.
