TEACHER/DIRECTOR for childcare center.

Village Early Learning Center (VELC) in Saxtons River, Vt. is seeking a
teacher/director for its early education program licensed for 20
children 16 months to five years, including a Vermont public pre-school
program.

The position entails 75 per cent teaching and 25 per cent
administration. Current staff includes two lead teachers, four classroom
teachers for three classrooms, and an administrative assistant.

Candidate should have a bachelors degree and the interest and desire to
complete the necessary courses to be a director within two years of
accepting the position. Fee for the courses would be paid by VELC.

The position offers a comfortable starting salary with health benefits,
10 paid personal days, two weeks paid vacation and 10 holidays. Free
childcare is also available.
