St. Johnsbury Pediatrics at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) seeks a highly motivated and experienced Medical Office Secretary to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology, excellent customer service skills, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
•Communicating with patients in person and over the phone
•Coordinating patient care and referrals
•Maintaining patient records
•Scheduling, canceling appointments, and maintaining patient flow
•Ensuring accurate demographic and insurance information for patients
•Handling communications, including mail and telephone
