Quality Inspector

Aerotek Aviation is seeking to hire an Quality Inspector . As a Quality Inspector, you will verify routine product conformance to design requirements and provide objective evidence of results. Your responsibilities will include auditing, surveillance, monitoring, and identifying and documenting discrepancies.
Qualifications include:
1-2 years of related work experience (2-4 years preferred)
Equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience
Previous aerospace inspection experience
Experience in QA inspection methods and procedures, including First Article Inspection
Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills
Required to pass documented color and near vision exam
Knowledge of AS9100 requirements
Experience in the usage of calipers, ring/pin gages, comparator, and Smart scope
Proficient PC skills and use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel)
Understanding of Six Sigma / team concepts
Advanced GD&T Skills – Optical Comparator, CMM, Layout, Vision Scope Systems
Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
