Job Title: QC Lab TechnicianJob Description

As a QC Lab Technician, you will perform quality control testing on incoming cosmetic materials to ensure they meet our specifications before they can be sold. This includes a variety of tests such as appearance, color, refractive index, specific gravity, odor comparison, pH, and others. You will also manage approval or rejection of materials, repack orders with appropriate documentation, handle sample QC, respond to emails, manage returns, and perform miscellaneous maintenance tasks in the lab.

Hard Skills

Fragrance experience in odor evaluation (1-3 years)

Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Sciences

Experience with refractive index and specific gravity (1-3 years)

QC testing specific to material (appearance, color, refractive index, specific gravity, odor comparison, pH, etc.)

Soft Skills

Attention to detail

Ability to follow protocols

Strong communication skills

Problem-solving abilities

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Norwood, New Jersey.

Work Environment

You will work in a laboratory environment, performing daily quality control tests on cosmetic materials and ensuring compliance with customer and vendor requirements.
