Summary
The Medical Front desk Associate serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; notifies company personnel of patient/visitor arrival. Also is responsible for managing patient flow in the office, by moving patients through a predetermined schedule of appointments, triaging patients according to the state CDC guidelines. Responsibilities
Greets all patients and visitors when they arrive.
Issues correct paperwork, including all consent forms to patient, guardian visitors and vendors. Provides patients with intake and new patient forms as well as copies of our office policies and legally required documents. Reviews and completes all Outcomes Based Electronic Research Database (OBERD) questions daily. Gives patient necessary paperwork for procedures, prescriptions or therapy as ordered by the doctor. Answers patient questions and provide assistance with Kiosks when necessary. Escorts patient to the Pods waiting area. Scans all documents into patient charts and empties the fax in-box. Cleans and disinfects patient area and kiosks after every patient use. May assist other staff members with their duties as workload dictates. Empty the recycle bin, shut down lobby TVs and any other devices as required, daily prior to leaving. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Travels to appropriate office as assigned by Practice Manger, if required. Lock the lobby door after the last patient, prior to leaving. Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Office Manager.
Responsible for timely and accurate completion of timesheets/ time records for hours work and payroll processing. Time records must be completed and approved by employee no later than close of business on last day of each pay period. Responsible for timely completion of all new hire training, departmental training, and yearly compliance training (Hpro) on an ongoing basis.
Requirements
Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship Minimum High School Degree One year experience in a healthcare organization Computer literacy required
