Product Program Manager

BioLite, Inc. seeks a Product Program Manager for its Brooklyn, NY location.Duties: Lead new Product Development Programs from concept to development, through large-scale production ensuring tracking to Schedule, Cost, Budget, Safety, and Quality. Create and maintain Project Schedule and Deliverables Lists while tracking and managing project risks, ensuring appropriate mitigation and escalation. Collaborate with the Product Development Team, Manufacturing Team, and Supply-Chain partners to bring new, innovative products to the market, leading collaborative cross-functional program meetings and decision-making sessions. Present project status to the leadership team to maintain alignment on projects. Use technical expertise in industrial and mechanical engineering concepts such as machines, materials and energy to ensure transfer of designs to manufacturing for mass production and effectively lead cross-functional teams. Actively support Manufacturing, Quality, Testing, Engineering, and Operations to ensure productivity, reduce wastefulness, minimize costs and increase production quality. Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, plus 3 years of work experience as a Product Design Engineer, Quality Engineer, or closely related role involving consumer electronics product development. Work experience must include: Transferring product designs to contract manufacturers abroad; Enforcing strict quality standards with contract manufacturers abroad; Designing and developing products involving plastic materials, injection molding, sheet metal, and die-casting; Leading an engineering team through product development; Using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) in product design process; and, program and project management. Telecommuting permitted with periodic office visits to Brooklyn, NY headquarters. Work hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM (Eastern Standard Time). 20% international travel to China.
