Hiring Patient Service Representatives
Job Description
Assist with daily reception activities and ensure that all processes needed for patient services are initiated. Communicate effectively with team members and patients on all aspects of service. Responsible for telephone and mail contact with patients. Schedule appointments, collect fees, and explain services and charges for patient services. Distribute materials to patients, including patient satisfaction cards, patient rights, and other appropriate materials. Verify all insurance and set fees based on the sliding scale fee.
Hard Skills
High School Diploma or GED
1 year front desk or CSR healthcare experience is a huge plus
Bilingual Spanish is a plus
Computer skills
EMR experience is a huge plus
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Amityville, New York.
Work Environment
Employees will get paid on a 35-hour work week, with 7 hours paid and 1 hour unpaid lunch. You are required to work 1-2 late nights a week and 1 Saturday a month if the site is open on Saturdays.
Site Hours:
Monday: 8:00am to 7:00pm
Tuesday: 8:00am to 8:00pm
Wednesday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
Thursday: 8:00am to 7:00pm
Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
Every other Saturday from 8:00am to 4:00pm
Sunday: Closed
