Material Handler

Adecco is currently assisting a great client in their search for an experienced Material Handler in Bohemia, NY .

Type: 40hrs/wk. Contract

Start Date: Within two to three weeks.

Location: Intersect of Johnson Avenue and Veteran’s Memorial Highway in Bohemia, NY. Please make sure this commute works for you prior to applying.

Pay: $20.00 to $ 20.00

Length: Long Term

Hours : 7:00am to 3:30pm; M-F

Responsibilities for the Material Handler role include:

The Material Handler is responsible for the efficient and accurate movement of materials within the production facility. This position involves tasks such as receiving, storing, and issuing materials to support manufacturing operations.

Shipping and Receiving

Order picking

Entering information into the computer

Performing cycle counts

Qualifications for this Material Handler role:

Completed High School Diploma or GED.

Must have excellent attendance.

Must be comfortable entering information into a computer.

Ability to read instructions for picking/packing and shipping/receiving.

Ability to stand for approximately 8 hours per day.

Ability to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
