Director of Nursing

Join Our Team as the Director of Nursing at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Guilderland!

Are you a passionate leader in nursing looking to make a meaningful impact in a long-term care setting? The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Guilderland, a 127-bed facility dedicated to providing exceptional care, is seeking a Director of Nursing to join our team.

Position Type: Full-Time

Core Schedule: Monday through Friday

Hours: 8:00am to 4:00pm (we have flexibility!)

Salary Range: $105,000.00 to $130,000.00 with benefits!

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Management: Oversee and maintain high standards of care across all nursing services.

Compliance and Communication: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards while fostering effective communication among nursing staff.

Resident Care Coordination: Assess and address the nursing needs of all residents, ensuring personalized care plans.

Knowledge Sharing: Stay current with nursing theory and practices, disseminating this knowledge throughout the team.

Medical Records Management: Ensure the accurate and timely completion of medical documentation.

Staff Recruitment and Training: Participate in the interviewing, hiring, and orientation of new nursing staff.

Flexible Scheduling: Adapt to the dynamic needs of the facility with a flexible work schedule.

Qualifications:

Current New York State RN license.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in long-term care settings.

Proven experience in training and developing clinical staff.

Strong communication skills.

Demonstrated advanced leadership abilities and supervisory experience.
