Job Description
Yard Attendants should enjoy working in the elements. They are detail-oriented, quick on their feet, and often have a passion for cars. While Yard Attendants always focus on safety first, they understand the importance of a quick and smooth operation. Responsibilities include inventory of vehicles (bumpers, airbags deployed or not, etc.), imaging, cleaning out vehicles, and cataloging mileage.
Hard Skills
High school diploma
Comfortable working in the elements
General knowledge about cars
Mechanically inclined
Steel Toed Boots
Basic automotive repair skills preferred
Experience in or exposure to the construction field

Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 18 Week(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Cicero, New York.
Work Environment
Outdoors in the salvage yard, a lot of gravel and dirt. Report to Colleen. Team size of 6-8 in the yard. Hours are 8am-5pm Monday-Friday with a 1-hour lunch break. The environment is exposed to the elements.
