$15 per hour. Part Time, 3pm – 7pm. Excellent job for college students!! Job openings at both our Clinton, NY and New Hartford, NY locations.
The primary purpose of your job position is to provide assistance in all dietary functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Qualifications/Education/Experience:
Must have high school diploma or GED
Must be a minimum of sixteen (16) years of age.
Responsibilities:
Assure that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
Assure that safety regulations are followed at all times.
Assure that the department is maintained in a clean and safe manner by assuring that necessary equipment and supplies are maintained.
Report all hazardous conditions/equipment to the Director of Food Services immediately.
Report all accidents/incidents as established by department policies.
Complete job duties according to the pattern of management (provided at Sodexo Orientation).
Attends and participates in mandatory in -service programs.
Appropriate professional attire as required by LCCN dress code.
HIPAA Compliance :
Demonstrates knowledge of and adheres to LCCN policies and HIPAA regulations governing the confidentiality and security of protected health information for both manual and electronic resident records, charts, information and other confidential information including (but not limited to) employee records, computer access codes and passwords.
Physical and Sensory Requirements:
(With or without the aid of mechanical devices)
Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
Must be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner.
Must be able to cope with mental and emotional stress of the position.
Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with the residents, personnel, and support agencies.
Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability.
Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly who, at times, become emotionally upset.
May be required to lift, push, pull, and move equipment, supplies, etc., in excess of fifty (50) lbs.
Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents.
