Description
Pay Range: $75,000 – $85,000
The Senior Accountant is responsible for compiling, analyzing, and auditing the financial health of the company. This role supports month-end processes and expense reporting functions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Strict adherence to month-end processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Ensure compliance with deadlines for internal and external reporting requirements.
Administrator of SAP Concur including verifying, approving and entering expense reports.
Train PMD employees on entry and management of their expenses.
Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting department to increase efficiency, accuracy, and cost savings initiatives.
Lead the Accounts Payable Vendor Management system including analyzing external vendor information and maintain vendor profiles.
Reconcile General Ledger for employee receivables, credit card contras, prepaids, fixed assets, and other reconciliations.
Analyze large quantities of information by developing spreadsheet reports,verifying data controls and sourcing documentation.
Support the budgeting process by collaborating with leadership.
Research and interpret data for accuracy, trends and insights.
Prepare and maintain financial and business transactions by applying accounting principles and internal controls.
Ad hoc projects and reporting, as required.
Position Requirements
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business with a concentration in Accounting.
Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in Accounting.
Intermediate proficiently with Microsoft Excel (vlookips, sumifs, pivot tables, conditional statements), required.
Experience in manufacturing industry, preferred.
