DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Clerk 1, you will be responsible for efficiently managing administrative functions to support various public housing programs within MCRHA. Some specific duties include maintaining and updating physical and online files with client information, and routinely entering information into computer programs to maintain accurate records. You will also assist in verifying continuing resident eligibility during annual reviews and update the system with a high degree of accuracy. This professional also explains Housing and Urban Development (HUD) rules and regulations, and clarifies questions pertaining to occupancy certification standards and income, as well as eligibility requirements for public housing. Thorough attention to detail is vital, as you will be assisting with calculating rent based on income in compliance with HUD regulations. It is imperative to exhibit an attitude of cooperation and courtesy to team members, clients, and the public at all times.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Hiring preference for this vacancy may be given to candidates who live within McKean County. If no eligible candidates who live within McKean County apply for this position, candidates who reside in other counties may be considered.
