PT Evening Custodian

Cleans all assigned areas within facilities, including vacuuming, scrubbing, sanitizing, and disinfecting. Restocks janitorial supplies. Maintains clean building exterior, including sweeping, shoveling and windows. Completes minor maintenance as needed and supports event set up needs.

Primary Duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

– Clean all areas of assigned area within facilities and provide service to all horizontal and vertical surfaces including glass, walls, ceilings, and light fixtures. Working at elevated heights is sometimes required.
– Clean and mop floors. Vacuum as needed
– Empty trash cans
– Clean and sanitize bathrooms, restocks as needed
– Perform light maintenance, such as replacing light bulbs, checking/resetting thermostats
– Moving and setting up tables and chairs
– Collapsing and storing tables and chairs
– Occasionally may be asked to help move furniture, printers, etc.
– Other duties or tasks as requested by Company management.

Required

1. 1 – 2 years of similar experience as a custodian required

2.  Familiarity with cleaning procedures preferred

3.   Ability to perform maintenance, using drills, ladders, shovels, vacuum cleaner preferred

1.   Ability to work independently and as a team member

2.   Ability to determine what needs to be fixed and following company procedures to complete the task.

3.   Ability to work flexible hours

Language Skills:

Able to read and understand labels and warnings on equipment and cleaning supplies. Able to communicate problems to management
