DESCRIPTION OF WORK
An Administrative Office 1 performs varied administrative duties for the Department of Corrections Chief of Accreditation. You will conduct desk audits, coordinate annual inspections, and complete analytical reports. In addition, you will handle purchasing, make travel arrangements, and serve as our statewide records retention coordinator. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, along with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 2 days per week after passing the probationary period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Mechanicsburg.
Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $50,836 (before taxes)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelors degree; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
You must be able to perform essential job functions.
